Why this exists
Most traders don’t fail because of their strategy. They fail because they repeat the same mistakes without noticing.
The Light Protocol exists to solve one problem: turning unconscious behavior into conscious decisions.
What this protocol trains
1) Discipline
Open a session before trading. Close it after trading. No shortcuts. Consistency beats motivation.
2) Self-awareness
You don’t journal emotions. You acknowledge them before they affect your decisions. Ignoring it doesn’t make it disappear.
3) Accountability
You answer one question honestly: “Do I clearly know what to fix to improve?”
What this is NOT
- Not a performance tracker
- Not a trade journal
- Not a place to justify bad decisions
You can have a green day and fail the protocol. You can have a red day and succeed.
How to use it
- Open a session before trading: set intention, acknowledge your state.
- Trade your plan. The protocol doesn’t interfere with execution.
- Close the session after trading: record facts, not stories.
Points & rewards (coming soon)
To make consistency easier, the Light Protocol will include a simple point system. You earn points for completing your sessions — not for making money.
- Points reward discipline (showing up, opening and closing sessions).
- Not performance (a green day doesn’t mean “more points”).
- More points = better odds in future community giveaways and draws.
The exact details are still being defined (rules, frequency, rewards). The goal stays the same: build habits that compound over time.
